The revival began only in 80-ies of the 20th century: added new technology, and vats of local wood were replaced by stainless steel tanks and wooden barrels. Chilean wine — quality wines of the Old world at an affordable price. A feature of these drinks is considered to be a deep aroma and rich taste. The most popular among white Chilean wines are the drinks of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc (a special bright flavor with a tropical fruit bouquet). In red wines dominated by Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Winemaking in Chile, unlike Europe, is not regulated by strict standards. So often, the bottle does not indicate the wine category.
